On September 20, 2024, a meeting was held at the Tourist Center with representatives of the “Partnership for a Strong Ukraine” Foundation, discussing the role of the information boards “Place of Memory. LOST HERITAGE.” All information on the boards is standardized and presented in both Ukrainian and English, featuring photographs and a QR code linking to materials about the tragic locations where Chernihiv fiercely defended itself in 2022.
During the discussion on innovative tools for memory work, participants shared ideas based on their personal project experiences. The meeting was attended by S.V. Lytvyn, Head of the Department of Foreign Philology at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, and Viktoriia Mykhailenko, a second-year student of the “English Language and Translation” program.
The project is funded by the governments of the United Kingdom, Estonia, Canada, the Netherlands, the United States of America, Finland, Switzerland, and Sweden.
