“Digitally Wise”: Philology Students Complete Educational Youth Exchange in Poland

From October 17 to October 27, 2nd–4th year philology students Viktoriia Klopotovska, Kateryna Yarosh, Sofiia Sadova, Sofiia Zakharchuk, and Mariia Ivanova took part in an inspiring 9-day Polish–Ukrainian Youth Exchange as part of the “Digitally Wise” project (UKR/2026/U/0114) in Poronin, Poland.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, understanding the media environment is more vital than ever. Throughout the exchange, participants delved deep into key topics shaping our online interactions: media literacy, critical thinking, combating fake news and hate speech, and social media dynamics.

Beyond workshops and interactive sessions, the project created a collaborative space for Polish and Ukrainian youth. Participants had the opportunity to share their perspectives, learn from each other’s cultural and academic experiences, and develop practical skills together.

The participants made new friends, discovered local culture, and simply had a wonderful time along the way!
