Thanks to the cooperation of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University with the NGO “Chernihiv European”, Fundacja Centrum Kreatiwnych Inicjatyw Edukacyjnych (Poland) and Europas Erfolg e.V. (Germany) 15 students were able to participate in the implementation of the project “The art of memories”, and together with the youth of Poland and Germany discuss complex issues of the history of the World War II and “history lessons” for future generations.
The program of the visit included a visit to the Oskar Schindler Museum, the monuments of Krakow, the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and the International Youth Meeting Center in Auschwitz. In addition, students had online workshops with invited experts from Poland and Israel.
As a final work, the international group prepared a whole performance for Polish youth on the stage of the theater, as well as filmed a number of thematic video interviews.
Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Philology, Hanna Dyvnych joined the project as an interpreter.
