On October 16, 2024, philology students and all English language enthusiasts from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University enthusiastically and creatively celebrated Dictionary Day. They didn’t just mark the occasion—they dove into a true “word-creation” workshop! During this lively event, they invented Ukrainian equivalents for English words that have recently entered modern dictionaries. Each word sparked jokes and discussions, but most importantly, it was an opportunity to show that the Ukrainian language is always ready to embrace new challenges!
