Third-year philology students of group ІФ-221 held the final class of the second content module of the course “Practice of Oral and Written Speech,” dedicated to various art forms such as painting, sculpture, music, literature, street art, and the role of art in our lives. The topics explored included the influence of art on cultural development, the preservation of national heritage, the formation of aesthetic taste, and the significance of creativity in modern society.
Students delivered reports and presented engaging ideas on one of the proposed topics, exchanged views, and shared their perspectives on the role of art. The interactive format of the class fostered in-depth discussions and mutual inspiration. The students demonstrated an impressive ability to analyze different aspects of art, present clear arguments, and defend their positions in English.
Participation in such discussions not only enhances language competence but also develops critical thinking, creativity, and an appreciation for art as an integral part of cultural life.
