Chernihiv Polytechnic National University is expanding its international cooperation by establishing an active dialogue with leading European higher education institutions. In this context, a significant step has been the partnership with Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS), Lublin, Poland, particularly with the Department of English Language and Linguistics and the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies.
Within this collaboration, there is an exchange of scientific and methodological materials and teaching experience in the discipline “Practice of Oral and Written Translation,” which is part of the educational program “English Language and Translation.” Sessions on analysis and translation of texts are conducted under the guidance of leading instructors: Adam Głaz (UMCS), Svitlana Lytvyn, and Olena Rosstalna (Department of Foreign Philology, Chernihiv Polytechnic University). This joint activity allows combining different pedagogical approaches, integrating modern teaching methodologies, and adapting European educational standards to the educational process.
This initiative plays a crucial role in expanding academic opportunities for students and faculty, promoting their professional development. For future applicants, it opens additional prospects for gaining international experience, participating in joint educational programs, internships, and research. The cooperation also lays the groundwork for implementing joint educational projects, significantly enhancing the competitiveness of graduates in the European and global labor markets.
