Words to Taste: A Philology Evening of Support

Philology students held a unique event that combined the taste of their favorite treats with the power of kind words. Everyone experienced a true space of support and inspiration. In the exercise “Warm Words”, they created a whole dictionary of compliments and sincere wishes that will continue to encourage them. Thanks to “Philology Affirmations”, each student made their own motivational phrase to support them in studies and everyday life. A touch of humor was added by the “Philology Laughter Therapist”, where students invented funny “dictionary” definitions for pizza and drinks. In the game “I am a Novel Hero”, everyone felt like a literary character and discovered their own inner strengths. To finish, students created “Anti-Procrastination Recipes” – a lighthearted and playful way to fight procrastination.

The atmosphere of the evening was warm and sincere: students laughed, supported each other, and discovered new sides of themselves. Some felt relief by sharing their experiences, some gained motivation and belief in their own abilities, and others simply enjoyed the joy of being surrounded by like-minded peers.

For young people studying in a frontline city, such meetings are especially important. They help reduce anxiety, create a sense of safety, foster cohesion, and remind everyone that even in difficult conditions, it is possible to find inspiration, the power of words, and support in one another.
