The staff of the department warmly congratulate Viktoriia Semystrok, a student of the Educational and Professional Programme “English Language and Translation”, on winning an honourable second place at the regional stage of the 16th International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literature Competition for Pupils and Students (humanities track).
This achievement demonstrates a high level of language competence, strong motivation, and persistent effort, as well as a deep respect for the Ukrainian language and literary heritage.
The International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literature Competition aims to strengthen the status of the Ukrainian language in society, promote the creative legacy of Taras Shevchenko, develop language culture, and support talented pupils and students. The competition brings together gifted participants from different regions and contributes to the development of national awareness and spiritual values.
