From 13 to 17 October 2025<\/strong>, representatives of the National University \u201cChernihiv Polytechnic\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 Assoc. Prof. Lesia Pikun<\/strong> from the Department of Foreign Philology and Prof. Olena Zelenska<\/strong>, PhD in Economics, from the Department of Tourism \u2014 took part in an academic mobility programme<\/strong> within the framework of the E3UDRES\u00b2 Science Festival<\/strong> held in Valmiera, Latvia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the festival, the researchers not only presented the results of their studies but also made a significant contribution to strengthening the university\u2019s international cooperation, actively engaging with colleagues from various countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the festival activities, Lesia Pikun<\/strong> and Olena Zelenska<\/strong> established professional contacts and discussed prospects for joint projects with representatives of universities from Chile (Universidad Andr\u00e9s Bello)<\/strong>, Moldova (Technical University of Moldova)<\/strong>, Georgia (Georgian American University)<\/strong>, Egypt (Ain Shams University, Cairo)<\/strong>, India (Central University of Karnataka, National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management)<\/strong>, as well as with researchers from the Netherlands, Latvia, and Austria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special focus of the festival was on training young researchers<\/strong>. On 15 October 2025<\/strong>, Lesia Pikun<\/strong> participated in the Training for Master\u2019s and Doctoral Research Supervisors<\/strong> \u2014 a workshop for academic supervisors of master\u2019s and doctoral theses. The event was conducted by Prof. Dawn Kremslehner-Haas<\/strong> (St. P\u00f6lten University of Applied Sciences, Austria) and Miriam Losse<\/strong> (Saxion University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participation of Chernihiv Polytechnic\u2019s representatives in the festival highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration<\/strong> between philologists and tourism specialists, which opens new opportunities for developing international educational programmes, academic research, and joint initiatives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This experience contributes to the further integration of Chernihiv Polytechnic into the European academic and scientific community<\/strong>, strengthens international partnerships, and enhances the quality of the university\u2019s educational and research processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
