The Department of Foreign Philology at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University warmly welcomes the first-year students of groups ІФ-251 and ІФ-252 to the 2025/2026 academic year. Entering the university is an important milestone in every student’s life, as it lays the foundation for future professional work and academic achievements.
Studying at the department involves thorough learning of foreign languages, mastering modern translation methods, exploring intercultural studies, and practicing academic communication skills. First-year students will have opportunities to participate in international educational and research programs, take part in academic mobility projects, join student research clubs, and engage in cultural initiatives. Special attention will be given to developing practical language skills, including the use of the Integrated Humanities Research Laboratory as a modern language lab and a space for practicing simultaneous translation.
